Scoliosis
(Functional Management)

Scoliosis is lateral spine curvature, common in adolescents, adults. Symptoms: uneven shoulders, back pain, stiffness. Caused by genetics, muscle imbalance. Untreated, risks progression.

Home Exercise Protocol

  • Week 1-2:

  • Side Stretch (2 sets, 15 sec/side): Reach arm overhead, stretch side.

  • Pelvic Tilt (2 sets, 12 reps): Press lower back into floor, hold 5 sec.

  • NovaWell Hack: “Balance Glide” (2 sets, 10 reps): Rotate spine 5°, hold 3 sec.
     

  • Week 3-4:

  • Band Row (2 sets, 12 reps): Pull band to chest, sit tall.

  • Side Plank (2 sets, 15 sec/side): Hold side plank, lift hips.

  • NovaWell Hack: “Scoliosis Pulse” (2 sets, 10 reps): Pulse spine 2 inches in side stretch.

Objective: Align spine, strengthen core, improve posture.


Equipment: Resistance band, yoga mat
